Various metal ion exchanged zeolites were used as desulfurization materials of TBM aiming to produce hydrogen from city gas. TBM adsorption capacity of Ag-Y was larger than that of the other metal exchanged Y zeolite under moisture condition. However, the TBM adsorption capacity of Ag-Y decreased with an increase in amount of Ag ion under dry condition. On the other hand, the TBM adsorption capacity of Cu-Y and Zn-Y increased with an increase in amount of metals whether gas contain water or not.
