This work presents a method of induction in space by allowing a viewer to read the direction of the line of sight of another person based on the perception phenomenon of “joint attention”, which is one person’s understanding of where an object is based on the other person’s line of sight. Monitor, A2-size panel, A3-size panel, and wallpaper were placed in an exhibition space, and faces were shown on each medium. The viewer had the experience of following the line of sight of the shown faces. This paper describes how the author proceeded with verification of face modeling, the pupil position, line-of-sight characteristics, and spatial layout during the production process. This work showed the possibility of a new experiential work model that changes an individual’s internal state.
