Current research - monograph - Suicide in Public and Emotion in the 21st Century with Cambridge University Press (forthcoming 2022 - 2023) which explores the concept of suicide in public as a means to better understand and conceive of publicness and public spaces. The research also uses "suicide in public" as a theoretical tool to analyse the (emotionally) lived consequences of twenty-first century capitalism. Other current research is in feminist theory begins with white bourgeois feminisms' failed attempts to create a feminist nation. The research focuses on this event in humanities' university courses. A third area of research is the subject of walking in the city, and walking as a method in the fine arts and the humanities, especially in poetry and literature. This research focuses on the social life of the street and has already produced two pieces of work, with a third "Walking Essay" to be completed in 2023 after a research trip to the USA.
