Designing and testing models that address challenges users face when interacting with
web-based technologies

Designing technology-based solutions to address the challenges involved in protecting and
managing personal data of people who navigate modern ubiquitous and heterogeneous
communication-networked environments using various types of access devices.

Practical and theoretical development and analysis of Person-Centric ICT solutions in many
application areas, including e-business, social networks and healthcare.

Applying machine learning and other techniques on large datasets to better understand how
and why people use (or decide to stop using) technologies in their everyday lives. A
particular field of interest here is how people with disabilities interact with
technologies.
