ナノ粒子と金属表面との間に作用する力を考える．ナノ粒子が電気的に中性であり，間隔がサブミクロンメータである場合，主たる表面間力はカシミール力である．本研究では単色ガウシアンビームが照射されてる石英ナノ粒子と金属平板間に作用するカシミール力について考察し，石英の誘電率が温度に依存することを利用すると，石英ナノ粒子が表面近傍でも光トラップできる可能性のあることを示す．
