Main Research Themes: Sculptural practice rooted in the artist’s perspective; artistic creation and theory; history of modern and contemporary sculpture｜Expression and appreciation (experience) rooted in the sense of touch
Focusing on sculptural techniques, I conduct research from a practical perspective into the reality and potential of artistic expression that ultimately converges on existence. Furthermore, in order to explore the points of contact between the art, people and society, I am involved in various projects and educational programs concerning ‘tactile expression and tactile appreciation (experience)’.
