This paper describes the relationship between the educational system on the course of Information System Architecture, Graduate School of Industrial Technology, Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology and IT skill standards determined by the industrial world. Using the relationship, in this paper, we try to systematize and enhance the educational scheme for professional engineers, and the following two results are shown: (i) we investigate the correspondence between learning units in 2007 version of the curriculum of AIIT and the skill items determined in ITSS (Information Technology Skill Standards) ver. 2 as the skill dictionary, and we design 2008 version of the curriculum based on the investigation results; (ii) we also investigate the correspondence between learning units in 2008 version of the curriculum and the skill items of ITSS ver. 2, and we propose an evaluation method to assess the acquisition level of the skill items for each student according to the correspondence.

複数の携帯端末で構成されるアドホックネットワークを利用し,場に応じて様々に変化するコンテンツを共有する音楽配信システムJAMSの研究を進めている.JAMSは,利用するたびに受けられる内容の異なるサービスの実現を目指しており,これにより,日常生活に驚きや楽しみを感じてもらうことを設計目標としている.本稿では,場の特徴量をユーザに提示する方式に着目し,音楽ファイルの特徴を用いた特徴量の表現方法を提案する.さらに,携帯端末上で場の違いを直感的に理解させる表示方式を提案し,PC上に実装した結果を示す.

複数の携帯端末で構成されるアドホックネットワークを利用し,場に応じて様々に変化するコンテンツを共有する音楽配信システムJAMSの研究を進めている。本稿では,JAMSを対象に効率的な音楽配信を実現するためのキャッシュ管理方式を提案する,提案方式では,キャッシュ配置の最適化を行わず,各ノードからの要求に従って適応的にキャッシュを配布することにより,JAMSに適したロバストなキャッシュ管理方式を実現する.本稿ではさらに,シミュレーション実験により,様々な環境下でのファイルへのアクセス要求に対する失敗率を測定し,提案方式が,場の変化を利用したシステムにとって適切な方式であることを示す.

本稿では，ユーザが滞在する場〈時空間)によって受けられるサービスの内容が異なるシステムについて考察する.特に，ユーザの嗜好を端的に表現するメディアとして「音楽」に着目し，場に応じて様々に変化するコンテンツを共有する音楽配信システムを提案する.提案システムは，携帯端末で構成されるアドホックネットワークによりサービスの局所性を実現し，各ノードの要求に従って適応的にキャッシュを配布することにより，特定ノードにかかる処理と帯域の負荷を軽減する.また，コンテンツの局所性を表現するための場の特徴量を定義し，ユーザが場の特徴量を把握することにより，意外性のあるサービスの提供を実現する. In this paper, we consider systems providing different services according to space-time fields of the system users. Here, our target is music in which user preferences tend to be well expressed, and we propose a music delivery system for sharing various music contents according to space-time fields. The proposed system uses ad hoc networks with mobile devices for the localization service, and uses an adaptive cash delivery method depending on each node requests in order to reduce CPU power for the cash manegement and sending bandwidth. Moreover, we define the feature vector of the space-time field to express localization of contents, and provide subconscious services by displaying the feature vector to system users.

This paper analyzes relationship between video contents and subjective video quality, and applies the results to rate control methods for streaming video systems. In this analysis, we classify video programs into some groups in which a large majority of users feel the same video quality. We determine the relationship by conducting an experiment with method of paired comparisons, and express that as equations by multiple linear regression analysis. Moreover, we apply the results to the cases that sending rate is fixed and that frame size is fixed. As results, we found out that the proposed scheme makes it possible to provide high-quality streaming services under various system conditions.

本稿では,映像の意味的内容を考慮したレート制御の実現を目指し,映像のコンテンツと人間が体感する主観品質の関係を明らかにする.ここでは,様々な種類の映像を用いた主観評価実験を行い,人間が共通に持っている品質に対する感覚を明らかにする.さらに,この結果を利用し,様々な映像を主観評価値の似ているグループに分類する手法を提案する.このグループを利用すると,グループ毎にレート制御の方法を変えることにより,ユーザ満足度の高い制御の実現が可能になる.本稿ではさらに,視覚的パラメータのみを考慮した場合の映像分類結果と,主観評価実験の結果得られた分類結果とを比較することにより,映像の意味的パラメータを考慮する必要性を示す. This paper analyzes relationship between video contents and subjective video quality for user-oriented streaming services. In this analysis, we conduct subjective assessments by using various kinds of video programs, and propose a method classifying video programs into some groups in which a large majority of users feel the same video quality. The control with a high level of user satisfaction can be done by applying different control method to each group obtained from the proposed method. We also show the necessity of rate control according to video contents by comparing a classification result based on vision parameters with that based on the assessment result.

本稿では、ベストエフォートネットワークであるインターネット上でのリアルタイム映像配信サービスの実現を目指し、システム環境の変化に柔軟に対応可能なビデオストリーム配信システムの提案を行う。本システムの特徴は、システム環境に応じて動的に変化する制御ルールを利用すること、ストリーム視聴中にネットワーク状態の推定精度を徐々に上げていくこと、サービス品質劣化要因を積極的にユーザに開示していくことの3点である。これらの特徴によって、簡易なネットワーク状態推定手法を用いても、ユーザ満足度の高いサービスの提供が可能になる。本稿ではさらに、本システムの実装例として、研究室内に構築した実験システムの構成を示す。 This paper proposes a streaming video system which can be used in various system environments. The target of the system is real-time video delivery services in the Internet. This system has three features. The first is using QoS control rules adapting to the system environment. The second is improving estimation accuracy of the network condition gradually while viewing the stream. The third is notifying the degradation factors of service quality to the system users actively. These features make it possible to provide services with a high level of customer satisfaction. In addition，this paper shows the experimental system in our laboratory as the implementation examples.

ATM網では多様なトラヒック転送の実現が期待されているが,一方,極めて多くの速度クラスが混在する,各サービス需要が不透明である,多様な網リソースの使い方をするトラヒックが出現する等の特徴があるため,既存のトラヒック設計法や管理法の適用が困難であると考えられている.そこで我々は,新たなネットワークコンセプトである"セルフサイジングネットワーク"を提案し,これを実現するためのオペレーションシステムの研究を進めてきた.セルフサイジングネットワークでは,ATM網の特徴の1つであるVirualpath(VP)帯域の可変性を利用し,その時々の需要に見合う設備量の迅速かつ柔軟な提供を目指している.本稿では特に,VP容量制御プロトタイプシステムを対象とし,実装性能を評価する.以下では,プロトタイプシステム上で行った評価結果を示し、性能を推定する.

我々は,ATM網における新たなトラヒックオペレーションコンセプトである"セルフサイジングオペレーションコンセプトの検討を進めてきた。本オペレーションの目標は,その時々の需要に見合う設備量の迅速かつ柔軟な提供である。今回、VP容量制御機能のプロトタイプシステムを試作し,その実装性能評価を行った。実験結果から.網規模と制御処理時間との関係を明らかにし.実網への本OpSの適用可能性を示した。また.ネットワークにかかるトラヒックの負荷に応じて、適したVP容量制御アルゴリズムが異なることを明らかにした。システム化にあたってはTMNを採用し,管理対象のMIBを構築した。

B-ISDNの実現に向けて、ATM網トラヒックオペレーションの革新を実現するネットワークコンセプト"Self-sizing Network"の検討を進めている。今回、Self-sizing Networkオペレーションシステムのプロトタイプを開発し、その中心技術であるVirtual Path(VP)容量制御機能の実装性能評価を行ったので、結果を報告する。
