我々はこれまで、実世界データを利用したサービスを効率的に開発するためのフレームワークとして、ネットワークサービスプラットフォーム(Network Service Platform:NSP)の提案を行ってきた。本稿では、NSPでの利用を前提にしたデータストアモジュールを提案する。本モジュールはセンサーやロボットから収集される大量のデータを効率的に活用できるよう、高いスケーラビリティと可用性を実現すべく設計されている。今回我々は提案したデータストアモジュールのプロトタイプを構築したので、その結果を報告する。

近年Twitterに代表されるマイクロブログの普及により、インターネット上にリアルタイムで人々が思ったことを発信するようになった。この発信には、日記形式のブログや掲示板と比べ感情的なものが多く見られ、眠気といった感情も発信されている。一方、既研究では疲労から来る眠気は周辺の温熱環境との関係が強いとされているため、眠気が外気の気温とも関係があると考えられる。そこで、本研究ではマイクロブログにおける「眠い」や「ねむい」といった眠気に関係のあるキーワードを含む発信数と気温や湿度、天気等の気象データを利用して、眠気を予測する手法を提案する。

This paper describes the relationship between the educational system on the course of Information System Architecture, Graduate School of Industrial Technology, Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology and IT skill standards determined by the industrial world. Using the relationship, in this paper, we try to systematize and enhance the educational scheme for professional engineers, and the following two results are shown: (i) we investigate the correspondence between learning units in 2007 version of the curriculum of AIIT and the skill items determined in ITSS (Information Technology Skill Standards) ver. 2 as the skill dictionary, and we design 2008 version of the curriculum based on the investigation results; (ii) we also investigate the correspondence between learning units in 2008 version of the curriculum and the skill items of ITSS ver. 2, and we propose an evaluation method to assess the acquisition level of the skill items for each student according to the correspondence.

We have proposed a music delivery system, JAMS (JAMais vu System), which uses ad hoc networks with mobile devices for the localization services. The target of JAMS is to provide vaious kinds of services every time, and to give users a surprise and fun for their daily lives. In this paper, we focus on a scheme indicating features of time and space to system users, and propose a feature expression method using music data. Moreover, we propose the user interface on mobile devices to express intuitive feature differences, and show the implementation results on a PC.

We have proposed a music delivery system JAMS (JAMais vu System), which uses ad hoc networks with mobile devices for the localization services. In this paper, we focus on a cache management scheme for JAMS to deliver music files efficiently. The proposed scheme makes it possible to manage cache files robustly by using adaptive cache delivery according to each node request. In addition, we conduct a simulation experiment and obtain access failure ratio of music files under various system conditions. The simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme is suitable for the system using localization services.

This paper analyzes relationship between video contents and subjective video quality, and applies the results to rate control methods for streaming video systems. In this analysis, we classify video programs into some groups in which a large majority of users feel the same video quality. We determine the relationship by conducting an experiment with method of paired comparisons, and express that as equations by multiple linear regression analysis. Moreover, we apply the results to the cases that sending rate is fixed and that frame size is fixed. As results, we found out that the proposed scheme makes it possible to provide high-quality streaming services under various system conditions.
