<p>Based on a random sampling survey on the "'Individual Recovery Processes from the 1995 Hanshin-Awaji earthquake disaster'", people in the impacted area can be divided into 4 groups depending on the severity of housing damage and their life stages. An 80% of the severely damaged victims were forced to relocate their home・For then. the need for information regarding housing damage peaked at the first one week after the earthquake, and nearly half of the victims made up their minds with regards to where thev live within one month after the earthquake.</p>
